The club are to be commended for this successful fun run and for the array of food and post race refreshments provided by the parents and ladies of the club.  Also a big thank you to all the stewards, water attendants, results personnel etc for their time and effort on the day and indeed beforehand in the preparation of the route etc.  Many thanks also to Billy Purcell and Jim Ryan of Moycarkey-Coolcroo who measured and approved the course to national standards.

All proceeds of this run will be used to provide a top class running surface in the new indoor pavilion currently being built by the club. All those who participated and supported the club on Monday last will have seen how this building is progressing.  The club are to be commended on their foresight in providing this facility for their athletes and the wider community.
