Tipperary Challenge

This is a Challenge where all participants are challenged to compete over a variety of distance and routes, from 5km to 10km, during the month of May.

The challenge is ideally suited for all those competitors who like to compete on a regular basis with an ideal break between each race. These four races are well established events and are well organised. They are suited to all those athletes who are training for other races later in the year like the Ladies Mini Marathon in June and the Cork Marathon. The four races are spaced over the month of May, commencing  over a good 5k course at the Commons Ballingarry.  Then nine days later they compete over the classic 10k distance in Clonmel on a good course. After that competitors will be tested over an 8k course in Poulmucka, where athletes can achieve a fast time over a distance that is seldom raced over. The final Challenge is over 6k around the streets of Fethard. On finishing your 6k in Fethard every athlete that competes in all four races will receive a special, once off designed memento, a worthy reward for completing such a challenge
